City Hall
The Town Hall building stands on a grandstand which ennobles it and distinguishes it from all other buildings.
Highlights the balance of its main facade armed with blocks of local "tosca" sand stone, with six solid half pointed arches as well as windows on the two upper floors.
On this façade and on the stairs leading to C/ Hospital there are two Roman inscriptions from the forum of Dianium, as well as the two Roman pedestals for access to this street.
Although its origin of the seventeenth century what we see today is the result of a deep reform of the early nineteenth century, specifically between 1812 and 1848, which is evident both in the architectural structure and the construction elements that compose it.
Other renovations took place between 1873 and 1900, although the most striking was the construction of the small bell tower of limestone that crowns the building and frames the clock.
